Small Format Panels
These small format panels extend the studio investigation into force, rhythm, and repetition at a more intimate scale. Working on plywood supports, these works incorporate layered collage, drawing fragments, and acrylic surface construction to build compressed compositions that carry the same structural intensity as the larger panels.
Within the ongoing series Discipline of the Infinite, these pieces explore elemental motion — waves, compression, release, and suspended energy — through condensed visual structures. Fragments of earlier studies, prints, and drawings are occasionally embedded into the surface, creating layered fields where movement is both constructed and revealed.
While smaller in scale, these panels are not preparatory sketches. Each work is treated as a complete composition, where material layering, controlled line, and negative space work together to balance tension and clarity.
Production remains intentionally limited. A small number of these panels are completed each year as part of the broader studio practice.
All available works are presented below. Sold pieces remain archived as part of the evolving body of work.
